My Own Experience with Reiki

WHAT THE...?!  That's not what I meant...but COOL!

When my life seemed to implode before my eyes, I reached out and found Reiki.  It started off as a way to control my chronic physical pain from Crohns Disease.  During my session, I learned that I could get psychological support too.  I didn't even know that was a thing!  I knew that my anxiety levels were off the charts, so I booked the required three sessions right away!  I felt I had to get rid of my fear of (seemingly) everything, and the sooner the better!  

 

Part of this session required that I name what was "holding me back".  I'm a Taurus and didn't want to get the 'test' wrong, so...what I thought "What hold's everyone back? Fear!".  So that was the word I gave.  Now, "FEAR" is a big umbrella.  I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting, but 3 days later my life-long irrational fear of spiders, of all things, was gone!!  It made me do a double take when I moved a spider to keep him from getting killed in my garden.  I thought, "What the..?!  That's not what I meant...but COOL!"  

 

I am super happy to report that not only is my fear of spiders at an all-time low, LIFE in general isn't as intimidating or scary anymore.  I am able to enjoy my days in relative peace.  I say relative only because, well...kids and dogs ;)
